Software Engineer, CI/CD & DevOps

We are searching for a DevOps Engineer to join our PreSonus Software team located in Hamburg,Germany.

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and administration of the development infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines, cloud services, and local server infrastructure for software, firmware, and device drivers. They should have a strong understanding of daily engineering routines and software security best practices. _Essential Functions:_

• _Design, maintenance, and administration of CI/CD pipelines, with a strong focus on GitHub Actions and YAML-based workflow configuration_
• _Administration and maintenance of cloud infrastructure on AWS, including EC2 and S3_
• _Maintenance and administration of local/on-premises servers and the supporting development infrastructure_
• _Implement and maintain secrets management and secure pipeline practices across the development infrastructure_
• _Maintenance and administration of the integrated ticket and collaboration systems (Jira and Confluence)_
• _Collaborate with the Fender IT team (who administer the network remotely) to maintain a stable and reliable office network at the Hamburg location_
• _Maintenance and administration of automated test and build systems_
• _Monitor and help resolve errors and crashes reported via app stores_
• _Improve technical documentation_

_Qualifications:_

Required

• _Fluent German and English language skills_
• _Proven experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar role_
• _Hands-on experience building and maintaining continuous integration systems, with strong expertise in GitHub Actions and YAML pipeline configuration_
• _Experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2 and S3_
• _Proficiency with agile software development processes and tools (Git, Jira, Confluence)_
• _Familiarity with major desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)_
• _Experience maintaining local/on-premises server infrastructure_

Preferred

• _Experience with code signing for desktop, mobile, and device driver applications across platforms_
• _Programming skills (CMake, C++, TypeScript, Python)_
• _Hands-on experience building and upgrading computer hardware_
• _Experience collaborating with remote IT teams to support office network infrastructure_
