Salary range : Php 68,000/month _(The final amount will be at the the client discretion basing on the candidate’s skills and experience.)_
Working Hours: Following AU business hours
Work set-up: 100% Remote work under Independent Contractor Agreement

As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Lending Associate to support Mortgage Brokers and clients throughout the end-to-end loan application process. This is a hands-on role that combines loan processing, document review, credit support, lender coordination, and client communication, with a strong focus on ensuring loan applications are accurate, compliant, and progressed efficiently from broker handover through to settlement.
Key Responsibilities
Loan Application Preparation & Broker Support
- Review broker handover notes, lending strategies, and client information to ensure all required details are complete and accurate.
- Prepare lending submission notes, application inputs, and supporting documentation.
- Enter and maintain accurate client, financial, and loan information across relevant CRM and lender application systems.
- Assist with servicing inputs, product comparisons, pricing, and valuation research within the scope of the role.
- Ensure loan applications are complete, logical, and ready for submission before lodgement.
Document Review & Credit Support
- Review client documents for completeness, consistency, and currency.
- Analyse bank statements, income documents, liabilities, and other financial information to identify missing information or potential lending concerns.
- Review credit reports and flag relevant issues, including undisclosed liabilities or repayment concerns.
- Develop and apply knowledge of lender policies, credit requirements, and compliance standards.
- Escalate lending scenarios, risks, or matters requiring further assessment to the Mortgage Broker.
Application Processing & Lender Management
- Package and submit complete loan applications with all required supporting documentation.
- Manage applications from submission through assessment, approval, loan documentation, and settlement.
- Respond promptly to lender requests and outstanding conditions.
- Coordinate with clients, brokers, lenders, and other relevant stakeholders to obtain required information.
- Monitor application progress and identify potential delays or risks early.
- Maintain proactive communication with lenders and relevant stakeholders throughout the application process.
Client Communication & Experience
- Provide proactive and professional updates to clients throughout the loan application journey.
- Clearly communicate outstanding requirements, next steps, and expected timeframes.
- Follow up on documents and client actions in a warm, professional, and solutions-focused manner.
- Respond to client enquiries within the scope of the role and refer lending advice, strategy, or credit decisions to the appropriate Mortgage Broker.
- Take ownership of delivering a smooth and positive client experience throughout the processing stage.
CRM, Compliance & File Management
- Maintain accurate CRM notes, tasks, statuses, timelines, and lender milestones.
- Ensure allocated loan files remain current, organised, and easy for other team members to understand.
- Maintain high standards of file compliance and support audit requirements where necessary.
- Ensure documents are correctly named, stored, and managed according to internal processes.
- Take ownership of follow-ups and outstanding requirements, ensuring every active file has a clear next action.
- Handle sensitive client and financial information with strict confidentiality and professionalism.
Team Contribution & Continuous Improvement
- Continue developing lending, credit, and lender policy knowledge through training and practical experience.
- Participate in team learning, file reviews, and process improvement initiatives.
- Identify recurring bottlenecks or inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.
- Support team members during busy periods and contribute to a collaborative and high-accountability environment.

Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in lending support, mortgage broking, banking, credit, loan processing, or a similar financial services environment.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple loan files and competing priorities.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable reviewing financial information, including bank statements, income documents, liabilities, and supporting lending documentation.
- Ability to identify incomplete information, inconsistencies, or potential lending concerns.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with the confidence to raise issues before they become delays.
- Strong client service skills with a warm, clear, and professional communication style.

Preferred Skills & Experience
- Previous experience supporting Australian Mortgage Brokers or working within the Australian mortgage and lending industry.
- Exposure to lender policies, credit assessment, serviceability, and loan application processes.
- Experience managing loan applications from preparation through to settlement.
