Junior Planner

We are seeking a Junior Planner to join our Mine Maintenance department at Rosebel Gold Mines.

As a Junior Planner, you will assist in the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment reliability and performance. You will support the Maintenance department by working with the Oracle eAM Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

This position plays a key role in maintaining the availability of critical mining assets through accurate planning and coordination of maintenance tasks.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Efficiently develop and maintain weekly maintenance schedules for assigned equipment sections based on preventive maintenance (PM) requirements, hour meter readings, and operational priorities.
• Accurately create and process corrective work orders, requisitions, and inventory/direct charge (DC) parts requests to support timely maintenance activities.
• Proactively monitor and manage maintenance backlogs, identify planning issues, and provide feedback to Senior Planners to improve work order planning and execution.
• Effectively maintain maintenance records by processing SOS samples, updating daily shift reports, entering hour meter and fuel consumption data, and closing completed work orders in the CMMS.
• Actively support maintenance planning activities by assisting with item creation requests, bills of materials development, inventory replenishment reporting, and other departmental projects as assigned
