Project Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our Infrastructure Services team. The successful candidate will support the coordination and supervision of construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered according to design specifications, schedules, quality standards, and HSE requirements. Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Review and interpret engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved designs, standards, and project objectives.
• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site, monitoring project progress, contractor performance, workforce productivity, quality, and HSE compliance to achieve project milestones.
• Identify, assess, and resolve technical issues encountered during construction, providing practical and cost-effective engineering solutions while providing technical guidance to supervisors and construction teams.
• Oversee quality control and construction materials management, including QA/QC inspections, material delivery and storage, consumption monitoring, and timely reporting of non-conformances to minimize waste and ensure compliance.
• Support construction planning and resource coordination, including developing schedules, forecasting labour, materials, and equipment requirements, allocating resources, identifying project risks, and implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
