General Accountant (Costing and Inventory focus)

1\. Inventory Accounting

• Record and monitor all inventory transactions in the ERP system.
• Ensure inventory movements are accurately reflected in the General Ledger (GL).
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliations between inventory sub-ledger and the GL.
• Monitor inventory valuation using the Company's costing method (e.g., FIFO, Weighted Average, Standard Cost).
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.

2\. Cost Accounting

• Calculate product costs, including direct materials, direct labor, and manufacturing overhead.
• Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOM) and standard costs where applicable.
• Analyze manufacturing cost variances, including material, labor, overhead, and production efficiency.
• Support monthly costing activities and inventory closing processes.
• Prepare cost analysis reports and provide recommendations to support management decision-making and cost optimization.

3\. Inventory Control

• Coordinate cycle counts and annual physical inventory counts.
• Investigate inventory variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor obsolete, slow-moving, and damaged inventory.
• Review inventory reserves and provisions in accordance with Company policies and accounting standards.

4\. Financial Reporting

• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and other financial reports as required by management.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and Company policies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and supporting documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing/EMS environment.
• Hands-on experience and solid knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) are required.
• Experience with accounting software, especially Dynamics 365, is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), especially data analysis and reporting in Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Basic English communication skills (speaking, ) but ability to write, read and listen
