The Team
The Executive Operations team supports senior technical leadership, including the Office of the Chief of Staff and the Chief Nuclear Officer / Chief Technology Officer. The team focuses on technical analysis, strategic research, program coordination, and executive decision support in a fast-moving advanced nuclear environment.
The Role
_The Executive Technical Analyst serves as a trusted partner to the Chief Nuclear Officer / Chief Technology Officer, providing a unique combination of technical analysis, strategic research, project coordination, and executive support. The primary objective is to maximize the effectiveness of the CNO/CTO by ensuring that the right information, analysis, people, and priorities are brought together at the right time to enable high-quality technical and strategic decisions. This is a high-impact analytical position for someone with strong intellectual curiosity, excellent judgment, and exceptional organizational skills who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments._
Key Responsibilities
- _Research engineering, regulatory, commercial, and strategic topics._
- _Analyze technical reports and distill key findings into concise executive briefings._
- _Prepare technical memoranda, white papers, and decision-support material._
- _Support reviews of reactor design, licensing, safety, and engineering documentation._
- _Identify emerging technical risks, issues, and opportunities._
- _Coordinate meetings with engineering teams, customers, regulators, investors, and partners._
- _Draft executive correspondence and presentations._
- _Coordinate work across engineering, licensing, operations, manufacturing, and external partners._
- _Monitor schedules, milestones, and executive commitments._
- _Identify blockers and drive resolution._
- _Support major reviews, design milestones, regulatory engagements, and strategic initiatives._
- _Conduct market, technology, and competitor research._
- _Benchmark emerging technologies and industry trends._
- _Support strategic partnerships and business development._
- _Lead special projects on behalf of the CNO/CTO._
- _Develop executive dashboards and performance metrics._
- _Organize technical knowledge and executive information._
- _Maintain decision logs, action registers, and briefing material._
- _Develop documentation standards and executive workflows._
- _Improve systems that increase organizational effectiveness._
Basic Qualifications
- _Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline. _
- _3–8 years of experience in management consulting, engineering, technical project management, strategy, or a similarly analytical role._
- _Exceptional written and verbal communication skills._
- _Strong analytical and structured problem-solving ability._
- _Outstanding organizational and project management skills._
- _Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities._
- _High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment._
Preferred Skills and Experience
- _Experience in management or engineering consulting. _
- _Nuclear, aerospace, energy, manufacturing, or advanced technology experience._
- _Experience working with executive leadership._
- _Familiarity with engineering documentation, project controls, or regulatory environments._
- _Experience using AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, and productivity._
