At this point, Zelh is looking for a Load Coverage Manager for one of our clients.

Load Coverage / Booking Specialist is expected to secure carrier capacity, negotiate competitive rates, and ensure smooth freight movement while maintaining strong relationships with carrier partners.

This role requires strong negotiation skills , the ability to communicate effectively with carriers , and a deep understanding of freight operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate rates with carriers to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.
• Book and secure capacity for freight while optimizing cost efficiency.
• Communicate with carriers daily , building and maintaining long-term relationships.
• Monitor load status and ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Address and resolve carrier-related issues such as delays or service failures.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless load execution.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update internal systems with load details, rates, and carrier agreements.
• Actively engage new and existing carriers for available capacity and build and maintain relationships with truckload carriers
