Commissioning Manager

Our client is a global leader in metal-processing technologies and industrial engineering , providing equipment and turnkey solutions for the steel, stainless steel and aluminium industries. Its activities cover engineering, equipment supply, installation, commissioning and technical services , offering opportunities to work on international industrial projects and advanced technologies.

We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager to support an intervention on an existing CGL (Continuous Galvanizing Line) SELAS furnace, originally commissioned in 2003.

The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge and proven experience in the commissioning of CGL lines.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and coordinate commissioning activities on the existing CGL furnace.
• Supervise testing, start-up and commissioning operations.
• Monitor equipment and process performance during commissioning.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure commissioning activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Provide technical support and recommendations throughout the intervention.

Requirements :

• Proven experience in commissioning Continuous Galvanizing Lines (CGL).
• Strong technical knowledge of CGL furnace systems and processes.
• Specific experience with SELAS furnaces, particularly those equipped with a DFF (Direct Fired Furnace), is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of the CGL process and furnace operating principles.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in an industrial service or commissioning environment.
• Ability to work on site in an international industrial environment.
• Availability for a 2-week on-site assignment.
