What Otto costs

Your first 25 applications are free. After that it is $19 a month for 700, up to $99 for 5,000 — against all 661,229 live openings Otto tracks. No annual plan.

Free — $0

Upload a CV and Otto reads it, ranks every live opening against it, and fills in the application forms without you touching one. The free tier is 25 applications once, ever — not 25 a month. It is there so you can watch the thing work before deciding whether it is worth paying for.

What Otto will not do at any price

It does not invent facts. If an honest answer needs something you never gave it — visa status, a salary expectation, a start date, a reference — it stops and hands the application back to you rather than guessing, and it never answers demographic questions on your behalf. Those come back with the link and the reason.

There is also one apply queue and no priority lane, matching runs once a night for everyone, and the CV that goes out is the one you uploaded. Paying buys you volume, not a different engine.

Questions

How much does Otto Roles cost?

Your first 25 applications are free. After that there are 3 plans, all monthly: Starter at $19 a month for 700 applications, Pro at $45 a month for 2,000 applications, Max at $99 a month for 5,000 applications. There is no annual plan.

Is the free tier a trial?

No — it does not expire, and it is not a smaller subscription. It is 25 applications once, ever. They are real applications to real employers, so you can watch the thing work end to end before you are asked to pay for anything.

What counts as an application?

A run that fails outright never reached the employer: it costs you nothing and you can retry it. On a paid plan, everything else counts against your month — including an application that is waiting on you to answer a question.

Is there a daily limit?

No. There was one until September 2026, on the grounds that concentrated bursts are what applicant tracking systems fingerprint and block — but at ten a day a Max month would have taken over a year to spend, which is not a plan anybody could use. Pacing belongs in the apply queue, which sends two at a time, rather than in an allowance you are buying. Your 700 or 5,000 are yours to spend across the month however you like.

Can I cancel?

Yes — from Billing in your dashboard, which opens Stripe's own billing portal. No email, no retention call, and no annual plan to wait out. Cancelling on day two keeps what you paid for until the period ends.
