Site Health Safety & Environment Manager

_Key Responsibilities_

• _Lead all day-to-day HSE activities on the construction site._
• _Ensure implementation and continual improvement of the Project HSE Plan._
• _Conduct HSE inspections, audits, site walkdowns, and contractor monitoring activities._
• _Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation._
• _Review and support Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and Permit-to-Work activities._
• _Deliver site inductions, HSE training, and toolbox talks._
• _Monitor and track corrective and preventive actions._
• _Prepare and submit monthly HSE statistics and performance reports for both the project site and the legal entity._
• _Support the HSE prequalification and onboarding of new contractors, suppliers, and service providers._
• _Support future project tenders by providing HSE input and reviewing HSE requirements._
• _Liaise with project management, contractors, clients, and Corporate HSE on all HSE matters._

_Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:_

• _Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline._
• _Minimum 5 years of HSE experience on industrial construction projects._
• _OSHA 510 Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry certification._
• _CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification._
• _Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and applicable U.S. HSE regulations._
• _Valid authorization to work in the United States._

_Preferred Experience_

_Experience in one or more of the following sectors is highly desirable:_

• _Renewable Gas / Biogas_
• _Industrial Construction_
• _Oil & Gas_
• _Waste-to-Energy_

_Additional Preferred Qualifications_

• _CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification is considered a significant advantage and will receive preference during candidate selection._

Physical Demands:

• Frequently required to talk or hear, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Working Conditions:

• Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
