Research Assistant / Post-doctoral Fellow (Civil Services Contract)

_Nazarbayev University School of Medicine, established in 2015, is being developed in partnership with the University Of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and offers a US-style curriculum taught in English. NUSOM’s mission is to educate a new generation of clinically skilled and research-focused physicians prepared for leadership positions in research, education, and clinical care to improve the health of individuals in Kazakhstan, Central Asia, and around the world._

\- To be responsible for working with bacterial cell;

\- To be responsible for working with mammalian cell culture;

\- To be responsible for working with human samples;

\- To know techniques such as DNA extraction, PCR, sequencing and bioinformatics.

\- Candidates should have a degree in Biological or related Sciences;

\- Knowledge of computer science or/and bioinformatics is desirable but not essential;

\- Final-year students waiting for their results are encouraged to apply.

For candidates holding a master’s degree, there will be opportunities to enroll in PhD.
