As a Flight Analyst Freight , you'll play a key role in maximising freight revenue across the Qantas network. Working within the Freight Network & Margin team, you'll analyse market trends, demand patterns and network performance to optimise freight capacity, improve yield outcomes and support commercial decision-making.
This role goes beyond traditional capacity management. You'll take ownership of a portfolio of markets, implementing revenue management strategies, monitoring performance, identifying opportunities and influencing commercial outcomes. Working closely with Pricing, Sales and Revenue Management teams, you'll provide data-driven insights that help balance demand and available capacity while delivering the best possible revenue performance.
You'll have:
- Experience in revenue management, commercial analysis, aviation, logistics, freight, pricing or a similar commercially focused analytical environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate insights into commercial recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience making sound commercial decisions and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, effectively influencing stakeholders across Sales, Pricing, Operations and Commercial teams to align decisions and achieve revenue outcomes.
- Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities, with confidence presenting recommendations and challenging existing approaches when required.
- Experience working with revenue, demand forecasting, capacity planning, pricing or network optimisation activities will be highly regarded.
