Alfadocs is a SaaS platform for dental practices. Our Sales team helps medical practices understand the value of the platform and guides them through the full sales cycle, from the first conversation to close.
The Sales Team Lead manages a team of 7 Account Executives and reports directly to the Head of Sales. This is a player-coach role: you will own the team's performance, develop each person through regular coaching, and remain close to the market by working deals yourself. During the first three months, you will manage the full sales cycle directly and set the standard for the team.
Our core principles: We win as a team. We work together toward ambitious goals, share what we learn, and take responsibility for results. We value people who aim high, stay humble, and keep improving.
Key Responsibilities
- _Lead and develop the team_. Set clear objectives for seven Account Executives, review performance regularly, and support each person's growth.
- _Coach and mentor consistently._ Run structured 1:1s, deal reviews, and feedback sessions that improve sales execution and build confidence.
- _Own pipeline management and forecasting_. Keep the team's pipeline, priorities, and forecasts accurate and current, and take corrective action when performance drifts.
- _Manage performance directly_. Address difficult situations with fairness and clarity, including underperformance and sensitive team matters.
- _Deliver the team's commercial targets_. Maintain full accountability for the team's sales results and contribute directly to achieving them.
- _Improve the sales playbook_. Write, test, and refine sales scripts using evidence from customer conversations and team performance.
- _Lead from the front_. Manage the complete sales cycle, from the first call to closing the lead, especially during the first three months.
Requirements
- At least five years of sales experience, including at least two years as a Team Lead or in a senior role with people-management responsibility.

- Ability to write clear and effective sales scripts.
- Experience coaching and mentoring a sales team.
- Strong command of pipeline management, forecasting, and commercial prioritisation.
- Experience leading regular team meetings and performance reviews and handling sensitive team situations.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the commercial judgment expected of an experienced seller.
- A record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Natural leadership skills and the ability to motivate people and support their development.
- An analytical, data-informed approach to improving the team's sales method.
- Ambition combined with humility and a consistent desire to improve.
