_Job Description:_
Purpose of the Role & Responsibilities
- Perform credit underwriting and appraisal for corporate/wholesale banking clients, including detailed credit reports
- Prepare end-to-end credit proposals (industry & peer analysis, risk assessment, internal rating, documentation, collateral evaluation)
- Conduct financial analysis (cash flow, working capital, leverage, EV, ratio analysis)
- Evaluate loan structures, including term loans, working capital facilities, and trade finance exposures
- Assess financial & non-financial covenants and monitor compliance
- Analyze collateral/security structures (fund-based & non-fund-based limits)
- Build and review financial models and projections
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of mandatory experience in Corporate Banking / Wholesale Banking credit roles
- Strong experience in credit appraisal for large corporates / mid-market clients
- Solid understanding of banking products (CC/OD, term loans, BG/LC, etc.)
- Expertise in financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, and rating frameworks
- Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.
