Senior Fullstack Engineer - Remote

Full Stack Engineer with strong MERN stack experience to build and scale customer-facing products, backend services, and AI-powered workflows in a fast-moving AI startup.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
• Currently working at a product-based company.
• Strong experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, [Express.js](http://Express.js), [React.js](http://React.js), [Node.js](http://Node.js)).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable web applications.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.
• Strong understanding of system design, performance optimization, and scalability.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and AI-powered services is a plus.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks, state management, and responsive design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend applications.
• Build intuitive and high-performance user experiences using React.
• Develop secure and reliable backend services using [Node.js](http://Node.js) and Express.
• Design and optimize APIs, databases, and application architecture.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, AI, and Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Integrate AI capabilities into product workflows and user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot issues when required.
• Contribute to engineering best practices, code reviews, and development standards.

Location: Remote (however candidates open to a hybrid work setup in Delhi preferred)
