Design, build and own the software test automation infrastructure and frameworks for the Robotics team's software systems
Develop automated test suites covering unit, integration, system and regression testing across robotics software components
Work closely with robotics software engineers to define testable requirements and embed quality practices early in the development cycle ("shift-left" testing)
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated automated testing (build, test, deploy)
Identify, triage and track defects; collaborate with engineers to root-cause and resolve issues
Define test strategy, coverage metrics and quality KPIs for the team's software deliverables
Evaluate, select and introduce the test automation tools and frameworks best suited to robotics/embedded software
Continuously improve the reliability, speed and maintainability of the test infrastructure
Act as a quality advocate within the Robotics team, promoting a strong testing culture without belonging to a separate QA function
