Who We Are & What We’re Building
Goodwin is building the next generation of software for charter aviation. In private aviation, brokers work directly with clients to plan trips, while operators own and fly the aircraft, and Goodwin powers the workflows that connect the two every day. We’re focused on solving real-world complexity with elegant technology, bringing instant sourcing, polished proposals, modern payments, and AI-driven insights to an industry long held back by manual processes and legacy systems. Our platform helps aviation brokers win more deals, work smarter, and deliver exceptional experiences for their clients.
Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Columbus, Ohio with distributed talent across the US, Goodwin is on a fast-growth trajectory as we redefine private aviation technology from the ground up.
Why This Role Exists
We’re looking for an organized, resourceful, and hands-on Office Manager & Executive Assistant to help keep Goodwin’s Columbus HQ and the executive team running smoothly.
This role has two important areas of ownership. You’ll manage the day-to-day office experience, making sure our space is stocked, organized, welcoming, and well cared for. You’ll also provide executive support to two Goodwin leaders, helping manage schedules, logistics, travel, and the countless details that keep things moving.
You’ll also play an important role in customer visits and company events at Goodwin HQ. This is a role for someone who notices what needs to be done, takes ownership, and enjoys being the person others can count on to make things happen.
Please note: This role is based in Columbus, Ohio and requires working from our HQ 2-3 days per week, as well as being onsite for all customer visits and company events. Occasional travel throughout the Columbus area during the workday will also be required.
What You’ll Work On
- Own the day-to-day operations of Goodwin’s Columbus HQ, keeping the office organized, stocked, welcoming, and running smoothly
- Manage office supplies, snacks, beverages, and other recurring needs, proactively replenishing items before they run out
- Coordinate vendors and service providers for cleaning, repairs, maintenance, security, and other building needs
- Support new-hire onboarding logistics, including workstation setup and office access
- Provide administrative support to two executives, including calendar management, scheduling, travel, reimbursements, and meeting logistics
- Track open items, anticipate needs, and use good judgment to keep priorities moving without requiring every detail to be spelled out
- Help coordinate customer visits and company events, including catering, travel, transportation, reservations, room setup, décor, swag, and vendor coordination
- Be hands-on during visits and events, helping with setup, guest experience, schedule management, and whatever unexpected needs arise
- Handle local errands, pickups, orders, and other time-sensitive needs throughout the Columbus area
- Jump in wherever needed to create a great experience for our executives, employees, customers, and guests
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in executive support, office management, event coordination, or a combination of these areas
- Experience supporting senior executives, including calendar, scheduling, travel, and administrative support
- Exceptional organization, responsiveness, and follow-through
- Strong judgment and the ability to determine when to act independently, ask questions, or escalate
- A proactive, hands-on approach. You notice what needs attention and take ownership of getting it done
- Strong hospitality instincts and experience coordinating vendors, events, catering, travel, or onsite experiences
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where priorities and plans can change quickly
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with the ability to travel throughout the Columbus area as needed
- Ability to work onsite at our Columbus HQ 3–4 days per week and attend all customer visits and company events
- Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
