Duty Engineer (Audio Visual Specialist) at The Apurva Kempinski Bali

The incumbent closely monitors all processes related to ensuring high level of maintenance works done in the hotel and that they are timely and defect free.

The job of Duty Engineer (AV Specialist) is executed satisfactorily when:

• All audio-visual support requests from guests and internal departments are attended to promptly and resolved effectively.
• Hotel AV systems, equipment, and related technologies are maintained in optimal condition and in compliance with Kempinski standards.
• Preventive maintenance schedules for AV equipment are followed, recorded, and completed on time.
• Communication with guests, colleagues, and other departments is conducted politely and professionally, ensuring clarity in technical support.
• Safety, electrical handling, and emergency procedures related to AV operations are understood and adhered to, and equipment is operated safely and correctly.
• Positive working relationships are established and maintained within the Engineering team, Events team, and across other departments.

• Indonesian citizen with minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of AV systems, equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting (sound, lighting, projection, video conferencing).
• Understanding of safety procedures, electrical handling, and preventive maintenance practices for AV equipment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various hotel departments and event organizers.
• Ability to follow Kempinski standards and ensure all audio-visual setups are delivered to the highest quality and defect-free.
