Quento Technologies S.A. seeks a highly motivated AI Solutions Specialist - FDE II to join our AI Hub and help transform innovative AI solutions into real business value. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications and reusable accelerators, working closely with clients to solve complex business challenges using Generative AI, LLMs, and modern cloud technologies. You will play a key role throughout the entire lifecycle, from solution design and technical demonstrations to implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement in production environments.
Your responsibilities will entail:
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable AI accelerators to address common client challenges;
- Build end-to-end AI solutions that can be demonstrated to prospects and serve as the foundation for production implementations;
- Lead technical demonstrations and present solution capabilities, limitations, costs, and performance considerations to clients;
- Deploy and adapt AI solutions within client environments, ensuring alignment with security, infrastructure, and operational requirements;
- Take ownership of technical workstreams throughout the project lifecycle, from initial development through production deployment;
- Own the technical outcome of assigned workstreams, with scope, commercial terms, and client relationship management residing with the engagement lead;
- Develop portable solutions that can operate across cloud, on-premises, and restricted-network environments;
- Implement evaluation frameworks, testing methodologies, and quality benchmarks to measure solution effectiveness;
- Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, CI/CD, and secure development standards;
- Produce gap-to-production assessments outlining implementation requirements, technical limitations, and effort estimates;
- Continuously improve accelerators by incorporating lessons learned, new evaluation cases, and reusable connectors from client engagements;
- Mentor junior team members, conduct technical reviews, and support their professional development;
- Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
- 3-6 years of experience in software development with strong Python programming skills;
- Hands-on experience building AI/LLM-based applications, including retrieval systems, prompting, agent orchestration, tool integration, and evaluation frameworks;
- Experience with Databricks and at least one major cloud platform, including Spark, SQL, and production deployment workflows;
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, automated testing, and CI/CD processes;
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently to client technical teams and stakeholders, including candid discussion of limitations and trade-offs;
- Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to adapt to rapidly evolving AI technologies and tools;
- Professional proficiency in English; Greek is considered an advantage;
- Experience in regulated industries such as utilities, banking, insurance, energy, public sector, or similar environments is considered an asset;
- Familiarity with self-hosted or open-source AI model deployments is desirable;
- Understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks, including GDPR, EU AI Act, DORA, and NIS2, is considered a plus.
