Senior Purchasing Manager- cUAS (m/f/d)

What you'll do:

• Develop and execute the end-to-end procurement strategy for C-UAS products, ensuring material availability, scalability, and operational readiness across all phases of the product lifecycle.
• Lead supplier selection, supplier development, and strategic sourcing activities for critical mechanical, electronic, and aerospace components, building a resilient and high-performing supply base.
• Oversee procurement, supply planning, inventory management, and fulfilment processes to support prototype, pre-series, and serial production activities.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, negotiating commercial agreements and ensuring long-term supply continuity in a dynamic and fast-paced defence environment.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and reliable product delivery.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks, including single-source dependencies, long lead-time materials, capacity constraints, and geopolitical challenges.
• Implement and optimise supply chain processes, KPIs, forecasting methodologies, and operational performance frameworks to support the global growth and scalability of the C-UAS business.

• Lead supplier performance management activities, driving continuous improvement in quality, cost, delivery, innovation, and sustainability.

• Support make-versus-buy decisions, strategic sourcing initiatives, and capacity planning to align procurement activities with company objectives and growth plans.
