As Junior Safety Manager, you will support our Safety Management Team and the QSHE Manager in ensuring safe and compliant railway operations. In doing so, you will draw on your practical experience in railway operations and play an active role in our Safety Management System (SMS), operational monitoring and the further development of our safety and QSHE processes.

Your responsibilities will include
- Supporting the SMV and the QSHE Manager in ensuring safe and compliant railway operations
- Implementing, monitoring and further developing the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Drawing up and maintaining operational regulations, procedures and SMS documentation
- Planning and carrying out audits, inspections and operational monitoring
- Investigating and analysing the causes of safety-related incidents and deriving preventive measures
- Support with risk management and the assessment of hazards
- Ensuring the qualifications, competence and authorisation of operational staff, and coordinating further training
- Participation in management reviews, setting safety objectives and improving safety performance
- Collaboration with internal departments, public authorities, partners and external organisations
