The Opportunity:
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a global ergonomics program across Revolution Medicines locations including North America, Europe, and APAC, establishing scalable standards as the company expands into new geographies.
- Own the company-wide workers' compensation and occupational injury claims management process, including coordination with workers compensation insurance and other applicable partners, from initial reporting through return-to-work and claim closure.
- Serve as the company subject matter expert for ergonomics, providing strategic and technical guidance for office, laboratory, manufacturing, warehouse, and remote/hybrid work environments, as applicable.
- Develop and maintain global ergonomics standards, procedures, assessment tools, training, and metrics while adapting program execution to applicable country and local regulatory requirements.
- Conduct and/or oversee ergonomic risk assessments, job and workstation evaluations, and task analyses; recommend practical engineering, administrative, equipment, and work-practice controls to reduce musculoskeletal risk.
- Partner with Facilities, Human Resources, IT, Procurement, Legal, and business leaders to integrate ergonomic principles into workplace design, equipment selection, new-site planning, renovations, and employee support processes.
- Act as the primary EHS liaison with workers compensation insurers, third-party administrators, brokers, medical providers, legal partners, Human Resources, and managers to support timely claim handling, appropriate documentation, case strategy, and resolution.
- Develop and maintain consistent injury reporting, claims escalation, transitional/modified-duty, and return-to-work processes, coordinating with local stakeholders and country-specific programs or requirements where applicable.
- Analyze ergonomic assessment data, injury trends, workers' compensation claims, costs, and leading indicators to identify risk patterns, prioritize interventions, and communicate program performance and recommendations to leadership.
- Manage ergonomics and claims-related vendors, consultants, and service providers, ensuring quality, responsiveness, compliance, and alignment with company standards and business needs.
- Partner with EHS leadership to build scalable global programs, support audits and due diligence, identify emerging risks, and continuously improve employee health, safety, and operational readiness as Revolution Medicines grows.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
- BS/BA degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Ergonomics, Human Factors, Occupational Health, Industrial Engineering, Kinesiology, or a related discipline and 8+ years of relevant experience; or

- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading ergonomics programs across multiple sites, with the ability to establish enterprise standards and translate them into practical local implementation.
- Strong knowledge of ergonomic risk factors, assessment methodologies, workstation and task design, musculoskeletal injury prevention, and hierarchy-of-controls principles.
- Demonstrated experience managing workers' compensation or occupational injury claims, including insurer/third party administrator coordination, claim review, return-to-work, and stakeholder communication.
- Working knowledge of U.S. workers' compensation requirements and the ability to partner with Legal, HR, brokers, and local experts to navigate jurisdiction-specific requirements across states and international locations.
- Ability to use data and claims trends to identify risk, measure program effectiveness, develop business cases, and drive prevention-focused corrective actions.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative and professional relationships across functions, levels, cultures, and geographies while actively promoting a culture of safety.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop training and present technical and claims-related information clearly to employees and leadership.
- Ability to proactively engage stakeholders, anticipate change, address concerns, and provide practical, scalable solutions in a rapidly growing organization.
