About the Role
As a Customer Service Administrator, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently while supporting the day-to-day administration of the customer service function.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and online channels in a professional and friendly manner.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Update and maintain customer records and databases.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly, escalating where necessary.
- Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, operations and transport to ensure timely delivery of products and services to our customers.
- Monitor orders and provide customers with updates on delivery or service status.
- Support the wider team with administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who has:
- A minimum of 2-3 experience in a customer service/administration role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to help others.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Experience in the construction and/or building materials sector is beneficial.
- Experience using CRM or ERP systems would be an advantage, but not essential.
