\- Maintains accurate supplier and article master data

\- Checks Material Requirements Planning (MRP) results and sends orders to suppliers

\- Tracks supplier deliveries, identifies bottlenecks and escalates risk of shortages

\- Ensures optimum stock level for raw materials and takes actions to avoid and reduce excess/obsoletes, etc.

\- Supports technical changes by ensuring ordering/deliveries of new components

\- Supports the supplier integration (localization, consignment agreements, logistics agreements, delivery performance evaluation, etc.)

\- Develops and maintains regular contact with suppliers

\- Regularly reviews the supplier delivery performance evaluation

\- Supports the stock-take and cycle counting processes in the plant
