As an Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and processing bank transfers
- Reconciling bank statements and accounting for related accruals
- Calculating and posting exchange rate differences
- Recording miscellaneous financial transactions
- Preparing customer and vendor netting agreements
- Participating in monthly and annual closing activities
- Supporting the preparation and audit of financial statements
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Providing backup support for client master data maintenance activities
- Performing additional finance-related duties as assigned by the Treasury Manager
Education & Qualifications
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Qualified Accountant certification
- Knowledge of both Hungarian accounting standards and IFRS
- Qualified Accountant certification would be an advantage
Experience
- Relevant accounting experience in a corporate environment
- Experience with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Experience working with international stakeholders is an advantage
Language Skills
- Fluent Hungarian and English language skills
IT Skills
- Good user-level knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
