**Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Individually Designed Living Arrangement (IDLA)**

**Department:** Developmental Disabilities (DD)

**Hours:** Part time hours needed Tuesdays and Wednesday 7:30am-12:30pm, driver preferred

Arion Care Solutions is hiring compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide in-home and community-based support for individuals receiving IDLA (Individually Designed Living Arrangement) services. DSPs help members build daily living skills, increase independence, and achieve their personal goals through personalized, one-on-one support.

**Minimum Qualifications**

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Eligible for an Arizona DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Minimum 3 months of experience assisting with personal care.

**Responsibilities:**

• Support individuals in home and community settings to develop self-help, social, and adaptive skills.
• Teach life skills such as hygiene, cooking, and budgeting.
• Assist with personal care (e.g., bathing, toileting, eating).
• Implement Habilitation goals.
• Provide behavioral support using positive techniques.
• Accompany individuals to appointments and community activities.
• Assist with medication reminders.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
• Communicate with families, supervisors, and team members.
• Respond appropriately in emergencies.

**Required Training (some can be completed after hire)**

• CPR & First Aid
• Article 9
• Habilitation Series
• Cultural Competency
• Other training as needed.

• Personal or company vehicle
• Adaptive equipment as needed
