Job Summary:
The Body Shop Assistant at Baker Collision (Coopersville) will assist the collision team in completing various tasks related to repairing damaged vehicles. This is a full-time, hourly position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the industry. As a part of Baker Collision you will play an important role in supporting the team to meet customer satisfaction and quality standards.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly position paid biweekly. Employees are also eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for automotive training and education.
Responsibilities:
\- Pre and post repair clean up/detailing of customer vehicles
\- Clean and maintain work area and tools
\- Receive and track parts as they enter the shop and dispatch accordingly
\- Remove trash recycling materials from shop daily
\- Help with general maintenance and upkeep of the body shop
Requirements:
\- High School Diploma or equivalent
\- Prior experience in a body shop or automotive repair setting is preferred
\- Knowledge of basic automotive repair and maintenance
\- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
\- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
\- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
\- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
