About Kolomoni Kolomoni Microfinance Institution (Gambia) is a microfinance institution licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of The Gambia. We are a subsidiary of CapitalSage Holdings, a Nigerian-founded conglomerate established in 2014, operating across fintech, agribusiness, FMCG, healthcare and export trading, with a presence in multiple African countries and global markets. We exist for the part of the market formal banking has largely passed over: traders, agents, merchants, MSMEs and ordinary earners who run real economic activity without a bank behind them. We serve them through personal banking and wallets, business banking, corporate and ecosystem payments, agency banking and merchant acceptance — delivered through a growing branch and service-centre network and the field teams behind it. We are in a build phase. The structure, the propositions and the standards are being set now, by the people joining now. About the role We are opening service centres across priority Area Councils, and we need four people to run them. Each one owns a territory outright: the commercial number, the field team, the service centre and the controls that sit behind all three. You will be the Bank in that Area Council. What the market sees of Kolomoni — the officers on the ground, the centre itself, how a complaint gets handled — is what you build and hold to standard. It is a field role, not a desk one. What you will do Develop and execute the approved Area Council market plan, territory coverage and service-centre operating plan. Deliver the assigned acquisition, deposit, transaction, revenue, credit-origination and service targets. Lead Business Supervisors, Business Relationship Officers and Direct Sales Agents, and enforce daily field discipline. Run daily huddles, weekly performance reviews and monthly location reviews. Drive onboarding quality, activation, retention and funded-to-active conversion — not accounts opened. Maintain service-centre readiness, safety, customer experience, records and escalation controls. Coordinate POS deployment, repairs and asset protection with the functional teams. Manage local partnerships with associations, employers, institutions, community stakeholders and local authorities. Monitor KYC/KYB exceptions, fraud signals and conduct concerns, and resolve or escalate them within timelines. Requirements What we are looking for A first degree or higher national diploma in business, banking, finance, marketing, management or a related discipline. At least five years in banking, fintech, sales, distribution or service operations. At least two of those years supervising a commercial or customer-facing team and carrying its number. Real knowledge of the local market in the Area Council you are applying for. Local leadership and presence; coaching ability; stakeholder management; and the control discipline to hold a standard when the number is under pressure.
