Resident Aid/Caregiver

Job Duties :

• To care for residents in an Assisted Living environment while helping to maintain the resident's quality of life with dignity and respect.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living
• Maintain resident documentation as needed
• Obtain residents vitals as directed
• Prepare and serve meals as needed
• Distribute resident medications for their self-administration
• Restock supplies
• Clean resident rooms and common areas as scheduled
• Provide laundry services to residents
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Educational Requirement : High school education or equivalent preferred but not required. Previous direct care experience desired, but will train the right candidate.

Physical Demands : Walking and standing for greater than 70% of shift. Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, and stoop. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.
