Rotational Chief Engineer | 45m M/Y Private | USA/Caribbean

**A 45m Private Motor Yacht is looking for a Chief Engineer.

POSITION: Chief Engineer

LOCATION: Fort Lauderdale, Florida

START DATE: November/December 2026

QUALIFICATIONS:_Y3 Eng or above._

ITINERARY: USA - Caribbean, Med & South Pacific

SALARY: USD $9'000 as a guide - DOE

CONTRACT: Full time contract - Rotational 2/2

VISA: _B1/B2 required_

• Can be a 2nd engineer wanting to step up to Sole Engineer on rotation, but needs to have proven experience & references.

• Y3 or above certification preferred

• Good trouble shooting mind and not reliant on calling someone, this is a hands on position and engineers who are not confident in all onboard systems and engine management should not apply.

• Working with CAT engines experience required.

• Engineer - while rotational - is a shared cabin onboard.

• Interests in diving, drone filmography and photography are desired.

• Must be willing to assist across departments when needed, team player and positive attitude with helping on deck when docking / anchoring / provisioning etc

• Approximate start date in two months.

• Salary Doe - $9k USD per month guide range.

The yacht will be in an extensive refit and yard period until February 27' and is then undertaking a Florida / Caribbean itinerary, future cruising is planned through Panama and then into the South Pacific and then a world wide itinerary.
