Starting pay is $35.24/hour, which is equivalent to an annual salary of approximately $73,308. Upon successful completion of the police academy, an additional $4,653 per year will be added to the employee’s salary in accordance with KLEFPF eligibility.

To potentially qualify for lateral pay, as a lateral police officer, you must have a minimum of two years of full-time employment with a state, county, or municipal police, sheriff's department, or similar agency, such as an airport, university, etc.
