Associate Attorney - Chicago

Clausen Miller P.C. is seeking a Liability Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney to join our _COVERAGE_ practice group. The position seeks an experienced Attorney in third party liability insurance coverage defense and consulting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney who wants early hands-on experience--including depositions, hearings, and direct client interaction--while working closely with experienced partners in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

_What You 'll Do_

With direct partner mentorship, you will take an active role in managing cases including:

• Communicating directly with clients and developing strong professional relationships
• Managing written discovery and preparing strategic case analyses
• Drafting and arguing motions and engaging in motion practice
• Conducting and defending depositions
• Appearing in court and participating in hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
• Assisting with trial preparation and post-trial motions, including appeals

_What We 're Looking For_

• Active license and good standing with the Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin State Bar
• 1-3 years coverage exposure or relevant experience preferred
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational ability
• Self-starter who thrives in an independent work environment
