This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in Burnaby, BC. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, financial statement preparation, and assisting with tax preparation. The role will also involve analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting senior accountants with various accounting tasks.

_Must - Have_

Experience using Caseware

Experience in Canadian public Accounting

_Qualifications_

Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting

Experience with accounts payable/receivable and financial statement preparation

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data

Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA certification or working towards CPA designation is a plus
