Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. Duties

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
• Provide care for patients with developmental disabilities and those requiring specialized attention.
• Assist in the management of infectious disease care protocols.
• Support behavioral health initiatives by providing compassionate care to patients experiencing mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in teaching hospitals to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Experience

• Previous experience in pediatrics or working with children is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with caring for individuals in nursing home settings is a plus.
• Experience managing infectious diseases and providing behavioral health support is beneficial.
• A background in inpatient care within a teaching hospital environment is preferred.
• Strong skills in monitoring vital signs and understanding patient aliment are essential.
