Security Dispatcher

Responsibilities:

\- Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls from current and prospect customers, current employees and from the public.

\- Gather and record accurate information from callers by telephone, email and two way radio communication.

\- Dispatch appropriate personnel or resources to incidents or service requests to include police, fire and supervisors.

\- Monitor and track the status of ongoing incidents or service requests

\- Coordinate communication between field units, supervisors, customers and other entities

\- Provide clear and concise instructions to callers or field units as needed

\- Maintain accurate records of all calls and actions taken

\- Follow established protocols and procedures for handling different types of incidents

Experience:

\- Previous experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role is preferred

\- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

\- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations

\- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

\- Proficient in using computer systems, two way radio and dispatch software

\- Knowledge of conflict management techniques

\- Experience in report writing and documentation

\- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies

\- Must have AZ Guard Card

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
