Retail / E-Commerce Specialist

_Job Responsibilities_

Your role as a Retail/E-Commerce Specialist will be prioritizing the below responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sales account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Prepare and post journal entries as needed (credit cards fees, sales adjustments, etc.)
• Accomplishing financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure data accuracy
• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Develop assign tasks for MEC (Month End Closing) with entries and reports
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and other accounting projects
• Supporting audits ensuring all documentation and processes meet regulatory and compliance standards

_Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications_

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in Retail / E-Commerce accounting
• Knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS, tax regulations, and compliance standards (plus, not excluding)
• MS Office Knowledge and familiarity with relevant ERP such as SAP, Dynamics, etc. Other platforms such Shopify, will also be a value added.
• Analytical skills with a proven track record of identifying/resolving financial discrepancies
• English is a must; another language is a value added (plus, not excluding)
