JOB PURPOSE

• _To complete planned VMI activities on the Stoneblower Fleet to maximise availability and reliability_
• _Carry out repairs on the Stoneblower fleet to competency levels_
• _Support the Stoneblower Field Service Manager in achieving desired targets and KPI’s_
• _Complete assessments as required by the Field Service Manager_

KEY RESULT AREAS

• _Quality maintenance of the Stoneblower fleet_
• _All maintenance completed in line with the maintenance plan_
• _All FAMS administration completed on time_
• _On time completion of competence assessments _
• _Achieve targets as outlined in company safety plan_
• _Achieve 5S target score for field service_
• _Van stock accuracy_
• _Quality of documentation_
• _Compliance with all company policies & procedures, including Health & Safety, Quality & Environmental _

Qualifications & Managerial Experience

• _Is likely to be time served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline._
• _Personal Track Safety_
• _Hold an assessor’s qualification_

Technical Skills

_Knowledge & understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, electronic, fault finding & repair_

• _IT literate including knowledge of Microsoft systems_
• _Calibration & understanding of rail plant operating _
• _Competent in current maintenance standards_
• _Problem Solving and identifying solutions_

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• _Ensure maintenance activities are completed on time_
• _Complete maintenance and minor repair activities issued by the Field Service Manager_
• _Support the Field Service Manager providing inspection information as required_
• _Carry out competency assessments as requested by the field service manager_
• _Achieve targets as set out within the contract_
• _Monitor and maintain safety critical competency_
• _Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures including Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental._
• _Maintains 5’s levels on service vehicle._
• _Maintain fleet availability to exceed KPIs._
• _Take part in programs and procedures to sustain machine productivity._

• _Support the machine statutory servicing against plan._

• _Ensuring competence and fitness to undertake activities designated as safety critical work_
• _Comply with company standards and procedures relevant to the undertaking of Stoneblower Maintenance_
• _Observe safety objectives issued_
• _Participate in safety tours and planned inspections as required_
• _Contribute to the delivery of company occupational health and welfare, safety and environmental improvement plans_
• _Only undertake work for which you have been trained and (if required) certified competent_
• _To comply with Risk Assessments, method statements and safe systems of work._
• _Maintain and utilise all PPE provided by the employer_
• _Co-operate with your employer on health, safety and environment_
