Frontend Engineer (Angular/TypeScript)

GetCovered is a rapidly growing PropTech startup on a mission to modernize and simplify the insurance experience for renters and operators alike. We’re building scalable, modern web applications that solve real-world problems, and we’re expanding our India-based engineering team to help accelerate that mission.

We are looking for **experienced Frontend Engineers with strong Angular and TypeScript skills to join our team. You’ll play a key role in building dynamic, scalable, and performant user interfaces for our core applications.What You’ll Do**

• Develop and maintain responsive frontend applications using **Angular and TypeScript**
• Collaborate with backend engineers to consume **REST and GraphQL APIs**
• Implement UI components with attention to detail, performance, and reusability
• Contribute to technical decisions, architecture, and best practices
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability
• Work closely with Product and Design teams to deliver intuitive user experiences
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed

**What We’re Looking For**

• **4+ years of experience** in frontend development
• Strong proficiency with **Angular (v15+ preferred) and TypeScript**
• Experience integrating with **RESTful APIs and GraphQL**
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with component libraries; **Kendo UI** experience is a big plus
• Familiarity with **Docker and Nginx** is preferred
• Experience in an agile development environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

**Nice to Have**

• Experience working with UX/UI teams or designers
• Prior experience in PropTech, FinTech, or SaaS environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes
