_Description_

_The Albany Hilton has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Line Cook. This position will be a Full-time evening position; typical hours will range from 4pm to 12:30am; reporting directly to the head Chef of the hotel. _

_Responsibilities_

• _Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and standards._
• _Ensure food quality and presentation meets customer expectations._
• _Maintain clean and organized kitchen workstations and equipment._
• _Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to prevent food-borne illnesses._
• _Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service._
• _Monitor food inventory and communicate with management to order supplies._
• _Adapt to changing menus, food requests, and special dietary needs._
• _Identify and report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs._
• _Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in cooking techniques._

_Requirements_

• _Minimum of 2 years of cooking in a fast-paced environment; preference will be given to those with hospitality experience._
• _Completion of vocational school or a two-year associate degree; preferably in culinary._
• _Excellent kitchen/restaurant administration knowledge and ability to work as part of team._
• _Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills_
• _The ability to stand long periods of time on your feet and lift to 50lbs._
