Sushi Chef

We're looking for a Sushi Chef for our two sushi restaurants -- Chemistry Room and Sushi Lab -- in Midtown Manhattan.

What You 'll Be Doing

• Create high-quality sushi and omakase dishes that consistently impress guests
• Prepare various types of sushi according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, and presentation
• Maintain the highest standards of freshness, consistency, and presentation
• Engage with guests to create a personalized, memorable dining experience

What You 'll Bring to the Table

• 3+ years of experience as a Sushi Chef (Omakase experience a plus)
• Strong command of sushi techniques, knife skills, and presentation
• Calm, focused, and effective under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
• Solid knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Positive, guest-focused leadership style

Pay Rate: $25 - $30 per hour
