Job Description:

INNIO Souer is looking for a new Electrical Field Service Technician to join their service team to maintain and service the Thailand fleet of INNIO Jenbacher Industrial Gas Engine Generators.

The applicant will need to have a working knowledge and previous working experience of electrical systems, 3 phase generators, control systems / instrumentation and similar electrical systems.

Basic mechanical skills and a working knowledge of engines will be important.

Full manufacturer’s job training is provided, together with a job progression path based on field experience and job certification levels, together with their associated salary increases.

All PPE and tooling to perform the assigned work are provided by the company.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Vocational Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Power Electrical, Electrical Control, Industrial Electrical Technology, or Electrical Engineering)
• Holder of a Skill Certificate issued by the Department of Skill Development
• 2 – 5 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge in electrical wiring, generators, controls / instrumentation and similar electrical systems
• Able to travel and work at customer’s job sites throughout Thailand
• Valid car driving license
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Able to read, write, and prepare technical reports in English and Thai language
• Experience with computers and Microsoft Office applications

Main Responsibilities:

• Attend required equipment, HSE, industry and similar training courses (either in Thailand or abroad) and complete required training modules (eTraining and Field Tasks).
• Work alongside existing team members to develop skills and experience.
• Based on certification level, work alone or as part of the INNIO Souer service team to maintain, service, investigate and solve faults at the customer’s Gas Engine Generators and associated equipment.
• Work at the INNIO Souer workshop for testing, inspection, repair of equipment and similar work.
• Provide technical support and feedback to internal INNIO Souer team and customers.
• Follow all INNIO company policies and procedures, including HSE, industry requirements and internal systems.
• Prepare work reports, discuss work scope and equipment problems with the customers.
