1. Job Purpose

| The purpose of this role is to ensure a clean and safe office environment for all who enter the premises. This includes but is not limited to staff, customers, contractors, and visitors.

3. Duties and Key Areas of Responsibility

_Cleaning Duties_

▪ Ensure good housekeeping in all spaces – Toilets, Kitchens, Truck Park and Truck yard.

▪ Responsible for floor care, performing various surface tasks including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and spot-cleaning carpets of all office and Truck park areas.

▪ Responsible for the maintenance of furniture such as tables, chairs, and counters, carrying out tasks such as dusting, spraying, and cleaning.

▪ Responsible for removing trash in all offices and Truck Park areas.

▪ Responsible for daily cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms.

▪ Responsible for cleaning of all windows.

▪ Perform dusting, disinfecting, and polishing of surfaces and furniture as required.

_General Maintenance & Care_

● General maintenance

● No dried grass, leaves and litter as well as no withered plants

● Correct storage of equipment

_Supplies Management_

▪ May be required to shop for cleaning supplies as needed

▪ May be required to stock Kitchen supplies as needed

_Other Duties_

▪ Ensure that all customers and contractors follow safety regulations with regards to speed limit, designated parking, no smoking in dangerous zones, horseplay, etc.

▪ Ensure Zero injuries, ZERO Spills and ZERO Equipment damage.

▪ Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.

▪ Responsible for reporting repairs and replacements encountered when executing daily tasks.

▪ Participate in all Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) meetings and Fire drills.

▪ Know the Emergency Response Plan and use as guided.

▪ Perform ad hoc duties as required from time to time.

_General Responsibilities within the Truck Park_

● Cleaning all areas

● Truck Parking & Directing of Traffic within the yard

4. Academic and Trade Qualifications

| ▪ High School diploma or equivalent is advantageous

▪ Additional courses in cleaning will be advantageous

5. Work Experience & Skills

| ▪ Proven experience in a similar role

▪ Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment safely

▪ Able to stand for extended periods of time

▪ Excellent organisational skills

▪ Ability to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision

▪ Able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as required

▪ Knowledge of health and safety standards
