**Job Role: Systems Engineer - Level IV
Location: Fort Belvoir, VA
Duration: Full time, Onsite
Security Clearance: Active Tier 3 (T3) background investigation or ability to obtain and maintain
Requirements:**
\- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in systems engineering or related engineering disciplines
\- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
\- Advanced certification such as CompTIA CASP+, CISSP, or equivalent aligned to DoD requirements
Responsibilities:
\- Supervise server management, network management, user account management, security management, and backup and recovery operations
\- Ensure the operation and upkeep of computer systems, servers, and networks to maintain secure and reliable access to resources
\- Perform and oversee automation activities, including scripting using common scripting languages
\- Apply advanced knowledge of operating systems, networking, security, and cloud computing to support enterprise infrastructure
\- Provide strategic direction for system administration activities and guide infrastructure operations
\- Lead infrastructure upgrade, optimization, and modernization projects
\- Serve in a site lead capacity, coordinating system administration functions across the environment
