About the Role
Mahone Bay Pharmasave is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Cashier & Merchandiser **** to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment, enjoys a variety of tasks, and is looking to grow their skills in a supportive, team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities
\- Ensuring smooth operations and high customer service standards
\- Provide a positive customer experience
\- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards
\- Address customer and staff concerns in a professional, solutions-oriented manner
\- Assist with cash handling and cashier duties when necessary
\- Support in merchandising displays, stock rotation, and inventory checks
\- Take initiative to resolve issues and improve store efficiency
Qualifications & Skills
We're looking for someone who is:
\- Friendly, approachable, and highly customer service oriented
\- An excellent communicator and team motivator
\- Organized and detail-focused, especially when handling cash or stock
\- Able to take initiative and work independently when needed
\- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
\- Comfortable multitasking in a busy retail environment
\- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and use stairs as needed
\- Flexible to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Previous retail or merchandising experience is an asset, but not required.
