This is a remote position.
We are looking for Frontend Developers to join a large digital engineering programme delivering high-performance, scalable, and secure enterprise applications in the financial sector. The role focuses on building modern UI components in React (primary) and Angular, contributing to shared libraries, and ensuring best-practice standards across accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.
Responsibilities
> • Build, refactor, and optimise UI modules in React and Angular

> • Translate requirements, wireframes, and UX prototypes into production ready components
>
> • Create reusable components, shared libraries, and maintain frontend architecture consistency
>
> • Optimise performance, rendering behaviour, and overall user experience
>
> • Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services
>
> • Participate in code reviews and apply clean code practices
>
> • Implement unit tests using Jest, Jasmine, Karma, React Testing Library
>
> • Collaborate with backend, design, product, and DevOps teams
>
> • Work with build tools (Webpack, Vite, NX, Lerna)

> • Maintain documentation and support engineering standards

Requirements
> • 3–5 years of commercial experience in frontend development
>
> • Strong experience with React and Angular
>
> • Excellent understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, DOM, and browser internals
>
> • Experience with design systems and component driven development
>
> • Solid capability with state management (NgRx, Redux, RxJS, Zustand, Jotai, Signals)
>
> • Good understanding of REST API integration patterns
>
> • Comfortable with Git in collaborative multi-branch environments
>
> • Experience writing unit tests for frontend code
>
> • Fluent English for daily work and technical documentation
>
Nice to have
> • Experience with microfrontends or monorepo frameworks
>
> • Knowledge of frontend performance profiling tools
>
> • Familiarity with CI pipelines for frontend delivery
>
> • Accessibility experience (WCAG)
>
> • Exposure to Azure or cloud based frontend deployments
