Family Services Specialist III

Annual Salary: H14C $44,272.80 + [Full State Employee Benefits](https://oklahoma.gov/omes/omes-careers/benefits.html)

_Travel is occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance._

_This is a full-time position in an office setting and will be _ _Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM._

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience requirements consist of:

• A master's degree
• OR a bachelor's degree and one (1) year of experience in professional social work
• OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one (1) year of experience in professional social work for each year of the bachelor's degree
• OR three (3) years of experience as a Family Services Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Incumbents perform at the specialist level, where employees are designated as the lead workers or backup supervisors to lower-level employees, or are responsible for carrying a complex and difficult caseload or conducting case reads.
• Responsibilities include assigning caseloads, providing training in caseload principles and practices, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations as well as agency policy and procedures.
• Some incumbents may be embedded with community partners in order to remove barriers to access.
• Incumbents assigned to this level may coordinate an interdisciplinary treatment team; may be assigned multiple county or district wide responsibility for the provision of social services and may act as a project director.
