Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB), a multi-office national defense firm and the largest minority owned law firm in the United States, is seeking an **Associate Attorney** to join our Orlando office, supporting our Automotive Liability Defense practice. This is a full-time, in-office position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

**About the Role**

The Associate Attorney will represent clients in a variety of automotive liability and insurance defense matters. This position is ideal for an attorney with **2–5 years of litigation experience** who is looking to expand their practice while working alongside an experienced team in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**

• Manage a caseload involving automotive liability and insurance defense matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documents
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies
• Prepare and respond to written discovery
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
• Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit organization
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and insurance carriers
• Maintain compliance with court deadlines and client reporting requirements
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case management

**Qualifications**

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
• **2–5 years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience**
• Automotive liability defense experience preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience handling hearings, depositions, and motion practice
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment
