_The Heart of the Role_

A family in Miami Beach is seeking an exceptionally capable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join the team responsible for maintaining their large, beautifully appointed residence.

This is a position for someone who takes real ownership of their work — not simply completing an assigned list of tasks, but understanding that the overall cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the home are their professional responsibility.

The household operates at an exceptionally high standard, and the family is looking for someone who brings genuine pride to their work, notices what needs attention, and takes care of it without needing to be asked. Whether that means maintaining immaculate interiors, handling fine laundry, attending to an overlooked detail, or taking care of a practical household task outside the usual daily routine, the right person will approach the home as a whole rather than limiting themselves to a narrowly defined set of duties.

The residence is home to a father and his eight-year-old daughter, supported by a broader household team. The successful candidate will work in rotation with another Housekeeper, providing consistent coverage throughout the week, including weekends.

While housekeeping is the central responsibility, someone who enjoys cooking and would be happy to prepare occasional meals for the principal, his daughter, or household staff would be particularly welcome. Cooking experience is a plus, not a requirement.

_Primary Responsibilities_

Housekeeping & Residence Care

• Perform exceptional daily and deep cleaning throughout a large, high-standard private residence.

• Maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living spaces, and common areas to consistently impeccable standards.

• Care for fine furnishings, delicate surfaces, and specialty materials using appropriate cleaning techniques and products.

• Maintain an organized, polished, hotel/spa-quality environment throughout the home.

• Change beds, prepare fresh linens, and maintain bedrooms to a refined, hotel-quality standard.

• Monitor and replenish toiletries, household necessities, linens, and other supplies.

• Maintain household organization and assist with managing household inventories.

• Attend to practical household upkeep, including tasks such as taking out trash, cleaning exterior areas, and other reasonable responsibilities associated with keeping the property in excellent condition.

• Take initiative in identifying and addressing matters requiring attention, rather than waiting for specific instructions.

Laundry, Wardrobe & Linen Care

• Handle fine laundry and linens with considerable attention to fabric care and presentation.

• Perform high-quality ironing and steaming of clothing and household textiles.

• Maintain organized wardrobes, closets, and linen storage areas.

• Properly sort, launder, fold, press, and store clothing and linens according to fabric requirements and household preferences.

Household Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with the other Housekeeper and members of the household team to maintain consistent standards.

• Communicate clearly regarding priorities, household needs, and any matters requiring attention.

• Provide effective handovers between rotations to maintain continuity and prevent tasks from being overlooked.

• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through independently.

• Remain flexible and willing to assist with reasonable household needs as they arise.

Occasional Cooking — A Plus, Not Required

The family would welcome someone who enjoys preparing simple, fresh meals and is comfortable assisting with cooking when requested.

This might include preparing meals for the principal and his daughter, or occasionally for the Housekeeper and other household staff.

Professional cooking experience is not required, and the family will consider excellent Housekeepers without cooking skills.

_Schedule & Working Arrangement_

The family is transitioning toward a rotational housekeeping structure, with two Housekeepers sharing responsibility for the residence.

The anticipated arrangement involves approximately three or four consecutive working days followed by three or four days off, with weekends distributed fairly between the two Housekeepers. The precise rotation will be established with the household.

The family anticipates approximately nine- to ten-hour shifts rather than a conventional Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.

An important consideration is the ability to provide coverage into the early evening, ideally until approximately 7:00 PM, allowing the Housekeeper to attend to dinner-related cleanup and leave the home in excellent condition for the evening.

A schedule such as 10:00 AM–7:00 PM may work well, although some flexibility is appreciated.

The family will guarantee full-time compensation, providing consistent income regardless of how individual shifts are distributed within the rotation.

_Qualifications & Personal Attributes_

• Substantial professional housekeeping experience within luxury private estates or high-end private households is required.

• Exceptional cleaning abilities, including knowledge of fine furnishings, delicate surfaces, and appropriate care techniques.

• Strong expertise in fine laundry, ironing, steaming, and linen care.

• Demonstrated experience maintaining wardrobes, closets, and household organization.

• Excellent attention to detail and consistently high standards of presentation.

• A genuinely strong work ethic, personal accountability, and the ability to work independently.

• Highly reliable, punctual, organized, and conscientious.

• Comfortable taking ownership of the home's overall condition, including varied household tasks beyond standard cleaning duties.

• A practical, solution-oriented mindset and willingness to pitch in wherever reasonably needed.

• Comfortable working in rotation and collaborating closely with other household professionals.

• Strong English-language fluency and clear verbal communication skills.
