R&D Engineer

Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent we are looking to hire an R &D Engineer to join our R&D Department. As the R&D Engineer, you will contribute to new product development, design production tooling and equipment, and oversee prototype construction, testing and technical documentation. The role is based in Pedino Kilkis , Greece.

_Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:_

• Participates in new product development teams.

• Designs auxiliary production equipment (such as fixtures, jigs, moulds, etc.).
• Oversees and completes prototype construction.
• Performs all necessary engineering calculations.
• Creates and maintains the required technical specifications in the ERP system.
• Conducts technical tests and prepares the relevant reports.
• Prepares all necessary documentation, including manufacturing drawings, bills of materials, reports, assembly instructions, etc.
• Completes all necessary actions for products requiring certification by third-party bodies.
• Contributes to continuous improvement and training activities.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design Engineering.
• A relevant postgraduate degree may be considered an additional qualification.
• Very good proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor).
• Very good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Very good communication skills.
• Fluency in spoken and written Greek and English.
• Knowledge of plastics and moulds will be considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis will be considered an advantage.
