About the Role
We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician at our production facility "Prairie Forge" in Parsons, KS to keep our plant operating at peak performance. This role is hands-on and craftsmanship-driven: you’ll repair, maintain, and improve the equipment and systems that power our production lines. Your work ensures reliability, safety, and efficiency across the facility.
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, mixers, pumps, and control systems
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues
- Maintain service records and support continuous improvement of maintenance programs
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Work alongside operators and engineers to troubleshoot and keep production running smoothly
- Follow strict safety, environmental, and compliance standards
What We’re Seeking
Must Have
- U.S. citizenship and compliance with REAL ID and background check requirements
- Technical or vocational training in mechanics, electrical, or industrial systems
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read schematics/manuals
- Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and safety awareness
Nice to Have
- Welding, machining, or electrical repair skills
- Prior experience in energetics, chemical, or defense production
- Familiarity with PLCs and instrumentation
